Cruise ship runs aground off Italy; deaths reported
Fri Jan 13, 2012
Just finished a transatlantic Costa Cruise. Worst experience ever. VERY disorganized and VERY unsafe. I'm not surprised at this tragedy. I'm also not surprised the Captain lied to the passengers. The best possible outcome for this would be for Costa to go broke and never sail again.
Premature labor drug spikes from $10 to $1,500
Wed Mar 9, 2011
Sorry, "Nurse". Pharmaceutical companies aren't even allowed to give PENS to docs anymore, let alone "expensive trips to doc and wife". I've been a doc for over 20 years and have yet to see more than a pen or a notepad from a drug company. The pens and note pads went away about a …

Unfortunately I agree with most of the negative posters. His best bet is to: 1. Don't take the lump sum. It WILL be eaten by vultures.
States eye changes to teacher pay

Yes, there are liars out there (approximately 12 in every dozen). You need to do your homework - your 'due diligence'. Hiring a private investigator isn't that expensive (compared to a divorce). I did the 'online dating' thing and, over the course of three years, met three …

Maybe not, but anacondas love em.
C-section rates around globe at âÃÂÃÂepidemicâÃÂàlevels
Tue Jan 12, 2010
Its not true everywhere. My hospital does around 2,000 deliveries/year with a 15% overall C-section rate. I personally just came off four weeks of night call, almost a hundred deliveries, and 3 c-sections. The only real reason for a high C-section rate is fear of malpractice liability.
Second woman says ER ignored her, baby died
Thu Dec 31, 2009
I'm an OB doc and I can surmise what happened. Seems this lady DID, in fact, get to the OB dept. Placed on monitor, which will rarely pick up contractions on a 22 weeker.
